I appreciated your honesty about the customer service in your article. Sometimes no matter how great the food is the service or lack of, will keep me away. Great article!

Huh. Quite the contrary, I've been to Capital Q dozens of times, when I've been the only customer or at the back of a line stretching to the door, and I haven't seen the counter staff lose their cool. I've seen them tell people to order fried food first, so it can start cooking while other dishes are prepared, but that's just sensible.
Out of curiosity, what did your guest say?

Sorry I've been a bit slow with my response. I've been caught in a perfect storm of Jewish holidays and multiple deadlines. I am not suppose to comment on or even discuss my Times Union reviews outside of my capacity as a TU reviewer. So if you want to send an email to my TU address cottaway@timesunion.com, I can answer you that way.
Here is a link to the post-review discussion on Table Hopping, if you'd like to hear more of other folks' experiences.
