OK, OK, it took me a little longer than I promised, but here is the info on cheese making classes.
Sean O'Connor offers cheese making classes at At The Warehouse (Why, oh why do they need the "At" in the front of the name, but I guess that is another discussion.)
The next class will be May 3. I believe they start at 10 am, but you should check with Sean to make sure. It's best to register ahead of time, although you can show up at the door and try to get a spot.
To register:
Call Sean at (518) 892-6701, or email him at seantoconnor8@hotmail.com
The cost is $25 for the three-hour class. Sean will take care of all the supplies. You will learn a basic mozzarella. Sean will also do a demo of ricotta and talk a bit about how to make yogurt as well.
He can also teach classes on how to make chevre. Call him to make arrangements.

I sampled some his newest offerings -- a goat's milk feta and a greek-style goat's milk yogurt. They were both delicious.
I'd very much like you to join the conversation. The only rule: treat everyone else in the conversation with kindness and respect. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks!

I know Sean from the warehouse. He's a warm, funny and really nice guy and his mozzarella cheese and yogurt are exceptional; as are his goat and italian table cheeses. I am certain that his class will be a valuable as well as highly enjoyable experience.
