I've been getting harassed by a brownie lately. I don't mean in this in a metaphorical, ambitious foodie-doodie kind of a way. This is more of a this-brownie-is-following-me kind of a deal.
So in the spirit of all great brownie mysteries … what, there are no great brownie mysteries? Well there should be. So in the spirit of post-midnight posts and mystery brownies… I propose a whodunit contest. Tell me where this brownie comes from, and I will give you a box of them.
Here are your clues:
This brownie has an Earl Grey sister, but he is much better than she is.
Downward Dog does not want to smell the brownie, no matter how sweet.
In the event of more than one correct answer, I will choose a name out of a hat, or a bowl, or maybe a baking pan.
Good luck, Celinabean

Ok, I'm going add another clue...
The place that made the mystery brownie is on a street that shares its name with a state and a river.

Ultraviolet Cafe?

I think it's from the Chocolate Gecko, because that's on Delaware Avenue , right next to a yoga studio.
However, I don't even eat brownies so I don't know why I'm guessing....

I'll try someplace new, how about the Perfect Blend Cafe?

A couple of people are close, but no one has it yet. I'll give it till the end of the weekend. It's worth guessing, these are very, very good brownies people.
More hints, the owner is a woman and she's blond. The place also makes an incredible eggplant sandwich. Pictures to come when the mistery is solved.

How many tries do I get? How about three and then I'm out. My first guess would have been Peabody's cafe and Catering because I was just there for lunch and ate one of their delicious brownies. But, someone already guessed that. My second guess is Avenue A and my third and final guess is Nicole's. If it is not one of those then I give up!

Kate, sorry the contest is over. Here is the link to the winner. I agree, they do have good brownies at At The Warehouse.
